I will never trust that mail arrives when it should with mail pilot and that is the apps biggest flaw. I sent a test mail to myself and received an instant notification with the Outlook App and only received my mail in mail pilot after re launching the app. With so many good free mail app options out there, Mail Pilot is fighting a losing battle to try and add value with extra features or a different approach to mail, but it in my opinion, trying to reinvent mail into a task manager has actually added additional complexity to mail. I had the same issues as Ali with notification centre. There is a fine balance between making life easier with gestures but in the case with mail pilot 2, I found that it becomes almost over complicated to make things simple. The new Outlook mail app, in my opinion sets a new bar for third party mail apps.

The Account setup window will open up, and first enter your email address, then tap 'NEXT >' Now you will select an account type. Select '+ Add account' Now select the account type you're setting up. Sadly for mail pilot, they probably released this 2 weeks late. First, go into the master list of apps and select the 'Settings' app. Relying on iOS 8 background sync just doesn't feel as reliable when it comes to receiving new mail.

I had high expectations for mail pilot 2.
